cameo box top finished

after waiting weeks for the spangles for the loretta spears cameo box top, they arrived and were too big for the square spaces. so i used some 15/0 beads that worked out just great and the piece is complete.  i changed the colours from the drab taupes and cream to greens and an overdyed silk. it certainly perked up the box top quite a bit.

gosh, i hate to say this, but i don't like it. i think i am tired of geometrics.

  1. I like it alot. Sometimes you can go off a piece when working it but after finishing it you forget any problems encountered stitching it and then you like it again.
